Going to the San Clemente Certified Farmer’s Market, Sunday, September 20, 2026!

The San Clemente Certified Farmer's Market Logo

Well, since we were going to the annual San Clemente Classic Car Show on Sunday, the 20th of September, 2026, it also happened that the San Clemente Certified Farmer’s Market was also taking place, since the Farmer’s Market is open every Sunday, 9AM to 1PM, rain or shine!  The Farmer’s Market, which is an open-air market, is located at the 200th block of Avenida Del Mar, in front of the San Clemente library, as we were going south on Avenida Del Mar, checking out the cool cars.

The San Clemente Certified Farmer’s Market is held on Avenida Del Mar, between Ola Vista to the east and Calle Seville to the west.

The San Clemente Certified Farmer’s Market was founded in 1994 in order to bring fresh produce to the residents of San Clemente.  All farmers are certified by the Orange County Department of Agriculture, and strive to bring the freshest produce possible to the market.  This is a big deal; the Certified Farmer must meet all requirements of the State of California and the Orange Couty Department of Agriculture, and the farmer must grow everything they sell, the farms are inspected annually, and the farmer is inspected every six months at the Farmers Market.  We are blessed with California's mild climate and diverse growing regions, which allow many vegetables and fruits to be grown year-round, while others peak during specific seasons, so there is always something new and yummy to check out!

We had a great time checking out all the stuff for sale, and it was indeed mouthwatering, especially all the yummy baked goods!  Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment, as we were taking a little walking tour of all the vendor stalls:

In addition to fresh produce, the San Clemente Farmer's Market also offer all kinds of locally grown plants.  Of course that includes tons of succulents.  This is the view looking west down Avenida Del Mar.

Lots of fresh flowers and all kinds of produce, so nice!

Lots of fresh fruits, everything looks soooo delicious!

More fresh stuff, very nice!

You can even get your coffee fix!

Not just produce and fruits, the Farmer's Market also offer fresh fish. Love it!

And don't forget pasta!

Check out these delicious pastries, all super fresh!

Lots of fresh-baked breads, sooooo yummy!

All kinds of food stuffs for sale, how nice is that!

More locally grown produce, straight from the farm, as fresh as it gets!

Lots of farmers, lots of people, the weather not too hot, about as good as it gets!

No shortage of fresh foods, that's for sure!  This is the view walking up Avenida Del Mar, going east.

If you enjoy fresh vegetables, this is the place to be!

We are heading back up Avenida Del Mar, to check out more of the cool classic cars, saying Good Bye to the Farmer's Market for now!
