A super nice Cobra, sunning itself in the beautiful SoCal weather!
So, it's been a while since I went down to South Orange County Cars and Coffee (www.southoccarsandcoffee.com), which is a weekly car meet held every Saturday in my home town of San Clemente, at the San Clemente Outlet Mall. As South OC Cars and Coffee says, [the event] "attracts between 1,000 and 3,000 vehicles attends [which] attend each week, including hypercars, supercars, exotics, vintage, classic, muscle and sports cars, hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4x4's and motor cycles." I've been busy with a bunch of other stuff, like practicing with our band Smack Dab, shopping, washing cars and whatever else I usually do on Saturdays. However, on Saturday the seventh of March, 2026, I had absolutely nothing else to do, so I decided to enjoy the morning looking at some of the world's coolest cars. Like our friend Google says, "Southern California's car culture is a globally recognized phenomenon defined by its diversity, ranging from lowriders and hot rods to high-end exotics and tuner builds. The region serves as a hub for major automotive institutions like the Petersen Automotive Museum and hosts world-class events such as the Los Angeles Auto Show." True indeed!
This is a super cool event, which draws thousands of car-crazy visitors every Saturday, and since Saturday the seventh of March was an exceptionally nice day, the crowds were thick; young kids, families, and a bunch of us old dudes looking at hot rods and muscle cars. A great way to spend a Saturday morning, and plenty of walking exercise as well. Enough said Peter, let the pictures do the talking! Caveat; I don't know all the makes and models of all these cars (however my son Matthew probably do), but hopefully the pictures will speak for themselves. Enjoy!
As usual when I go to Cars and Coffee, I wear my coolest Vans. Lars our Husky is looking for a good place to lie down I'm sure.
